Junior Web Developer

As a Junior Web Developer at Astute Graphics, you will be joining a small and enthusiastic team of hard working but fun-loving foodies in an ideal Hereford city centre location.

 

General purpose

Enthusiastic web developer with a talent for front-end design, who displays initiative in maintaining and continuously improving the Company’s online presence.

Main job tasks and responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop Astute Graphics’ website(s) to both enhance existing functionality and introduce new functionality
  • Consider and continuously improve the user experience of all visitors to Astute Graphics’ website(s)
  • Maintain and continuously enhance online security of the purchasing, ordering, customer database and related system(s)

As Support Assistant you will play a key role in the continual growth of the company in a support capacity. You will be involved in many aspects of office life from data review and entry to customer enquiries and sales support.

Bookkeeper (contract or part time)

Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a Bookkeeper (contract or part time) to assist with a variety of financial tasks.

We are award-winning developers of creative software tools used by designers world-wide over the last 10 years. Clients include many household brands such as Adidas, Disney and Apple. The vast majority of purely digital product sales are handled automatically online via our astutegraphics.com site, with around 90% being exports.

Astute Graphics is a cash-positive company with a strong ethic on prompt payment for contractors and services. We typically pay same day of receipt of invoice.

Key duties

  • The maintenance and development of a financial control system for the Company
  • Purchase ledger, sales ledger and affiliate programme reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • VAT + MOSS return
  • Creation of month end management reports (Profit/Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Preparation of reports and documents for accountants
  • Creation of internal financial process documentation
  • Management of petty cash
