Corporate Account Manager (UK)

(5+ years experience)

You need a very thorough design software background, based on Enterprise workflows.

This is great opportunity for an experienced sales professional with both Account Management and Business Development skills from a design software background to drive their career further. To be successful as a Corporate Account Manager you will be self-motivated with a proven track record in successful negotiations and contract delivery. You can be based anywhere within the UK, with occasional visits to our Hereford Head Office. You will have great commercial awareness and the ability to think broadly and in an agile way. You will be comfortable to work within your current territory and to generate new business within your portfolio.

This role will see you focus on both gaining new customers and working an amazing portfolio of existing customers worldwide, but predominantly based in the UK and US. You will be part of a close-knit and collaborative team that are both supportive and helpful.

About you

The successful candidate will be working in the software market and be confident in selling Enterprise level solutions. What is essential to the role is being driven and target orientated, applicants who can bring a relevant contact base will hold an advantage over others.

Key responsibilities

  • Commercial analysis of customer data to provide monthly business forecasts to highlight new opportunity, review contract performance against targets and identify sales planning to secure contracted revenue.
  • Need to maintain Company values and reputation consistent with brand.
  • Identify new customers and opportunities with current client base.
  • Facilitate business meetings with our customers to align the customer’s strategy, highlight their true business needs to create a contract which all areas of the business are engaged to deliver.
  • Present solution proposals to decision makers and engage them throughout consultations to secure a commercial partnership negotiating full terms and conditions and supply contracts.
  • Continuously maintain sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Work effectively with colleagues across the company to maximise opportunity.
  • Review business opportunities for Astute Graphics to utilise our service offerings and align our ability to demonstrate savings and value to our customers.
  • Conduct internal and external research to identify customers’ requirements and opportunities to develop future activity plans.

Your skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Corporate Account Manager role or experience of managing complex corporate customer portfolios
  • Recognition that “attitude” is key to success, consisting of openness, curiosity, confidence, enthusiasm, working effectively with others and a strong work ethic
  • Proven aptitude in business development and project management
  • High degree of learning agility, emotional intelligence, as well as a deep understanding of who they are / what makes them tick
  • Proven track record in successful negotiations and contract delivery
  • Current knowledge of the Design and Software markets

  • A competitive salary, up to £35k dependent on experience
  • 10% commission (up to £100k per year)
