Functionality

• Native Illustrator plug-in designed to be seamless
• Autosave settings stored per document
• Determine default behaviour for all new and new-to-Autosaviour documents
• Autosave any open document, not just the current (frontmost) one.
• Set time between saves
• Panel displaying the current document's time since last save, time until the next save and the status. Optionally, it also has controls for toggling autosaving and backing up, and easy access to the settings through a button.
• Annotations during saves and backups providing essential confirmation of the save process taking place.
• Back up to a user-selectable folder (ideal for working in a network environment), and can keep up to 999 older versions.
• Backup file naming options include sequential numbers or six different time-stamp formats.
• Optionally ensure Autosaviour waits until you have completed a sequence of changes to your artwork (avoids save interference)
• Ensure backups of previous save state is made before new save takes place:
  • Backup created uses your OS to reduce potential losses and “time out” for Illustrator
  • Customisable filename suffix
  • Backup will also take place manually saving artwork between autosave sessions
  • Backup file placed in same folder as originating artwork file
• Remind option – instead of saving file
• Disable autosaving
• Treats backups as independent from autosaves, so you can have backups enabled even if autosaving/reminding is disabled.
