    Far too annoying to be useful for me. Why does it keep popping up asking me to save my work when I am in other apps, and haven’t used illustrator for hours. It also doesn’t say which of my 10 open documents it is that needs saving. I even trialled deactivating it to see how I went, but it kept popping up. I have now uninstalled so hopefully that stops it.

      Hi Chris,

      You can change your settings to prevent Autosaviour from Autosaving unless you request it to do so, to do this please do the following:

      * When you create a new document an ‘AutoSaviour Document Setting‘ diaologue box will pop up >
      * Untick ‘Enable Autosave/ Remind’ >
      * Untick ‘Edit Setting for New Douments’ >
      * Select ‘Dont Autosave/Remind unless I manually Enable it’

      You may find the information in this Autosaviour blog and the following tutorial videos useful:

      Autosaviour | Free Auto-save Plug-in for Adobe Illustrator
      Autosaviour Pro | Auto-save Plug-in for Adobe Illustrator

      If you never use the auto-saving function at all however, then we do recommend removing it completely.
