Astute Manager Pro service announcement

Important service update for all Astute Graphics plugin users. Please read carefully.

Astute Graphics has released a major update to its Astute Manager software, now on v4. This update brings new Digital Asset Management (DAM) services to all Astute Graphics account holders, regardless of plugin license state. Additional functionality is available through a new, separate Astute Manager Pro (astutemanager.com) monthly subscription service.

The Astute Manager remains the software required to install, update and manage your Astute Graphics plugins.

Active plugin subscribers’ services are not affected. The plugin subscription service remains available independent of the new Astute Manager Pro subscription service.

All Astute Graphics plugin settings not stored in the native Illustrator Preferences file, for example VectorFirstAid custom file clean-up profiles and Phantasm color adjustments, are managed by the Astute Manager for individual users.

Astute Manager plugin team sharing of plugin settings supports:

• Reform (Reprofile tool profiles)

• Texturino (textures)

• VectorFirstAid (custom file clean-up profiles)

³ Astute Library assets

Some Astute Library assets require a 7 day free trial period or paid subscription for the premium plugins to access:

• Texturino professional texture Asset Packs

• Reform Reprofile Tool profile Asset Packs

• Some Graphic Styles, which utilize various premium plugin features (e.g. VectorScribe, Stylism and Phantasm)

Updating the Astute Manager

If you have your Astute Manager software set to auto-update, this should take place shortly upon restarting the Astute Manager (for example, after a machine reboot, or a full Quit and restart).
