1.1 This Policy describes how digital assets (“Assets”) and related data are stored and deleted across the Astute Manager services.
2.1 All Astute Manager Pro plans, including Free, rely on cloud storage. Enterprise Users may connect their own cloud storage.
2.2 Asset uploads are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest using server‑side encryption.
2.3 There are no service‑side backups separate from the storage used by the Astute Manager Pro Service. For details of related security controls, please see our Trust & Security Statement.
2.4 The Services may store executable content including Scripts. Astute Graphics does not inspect, audit, verify, or certify all user-uploaded executable content.
3.1 User‑initiated deletion in cloud storage: when you delete an Asset in cloud storage, deletion is initiated promptly and is intended to be irreversible. Locally stored instances of Assets may also exist on users’ computers or devices (including multiple devices per user) and on devices of Team Members where Assets have been shared. These local copies are not automatically deleted at the same time as the cloud instance and remain under the control of the relevant user or Team Member. Deletion of Assets from Astute Graphics’ cloud systems does not remove or overwrite any local copies; management of such local instances is the responsibility of the user or Team.
3.2 Subscription end: when a subscription ends, Assets associated with the Astute Manager Pro Service are queued for deletion within twenty-one (21) days. Where Enterprise Users store Assets in their own cloud, we delete service keys and metadata necessary to render Assets readable through the Astute Manager Pro Service; Assets remaining in your cloud environment may persist under your control but will not be usable with the Astute Manager Pro Service.
3.3 Legal retention: certain personal data (for example, payment records) may be retained separately from Assets in order to comply with statutory requirements. For details on how personal data is processed and retained, please refer to our Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
3.4 No metadata retention: aside from legal or security logs, we do not retain Asset metadata (for example, file names) after deletion.
3.5 Certain Scripts, executable content, or other Assets distributed through the Services may create, modify, or store data outside locations managed by the Astute Manager Pro Service, including local files, configuration settings, preferences, caches, logs, project data, temporary files, or application data. Astute Graphics is not responsible for identifying, tracking, backing up, retaining, deleting, recovering, or removing such data. Users are responsible for understanding the behaviour of any Script or executable content they choose to install and use.
3.6 Deletion of a Script, executable content item, or Asset from the Astute Manager Pro Service, Script Library, Astute Library, cloud storage, Team storage, or a local installation location does not guarantee the removal of any data, files, settings, preferences, caches, logs, project data, or other information created by that content.
4.1 We do not access or read customer Assets under normal circumstances. Assets may be disclosed only if required by a lawful authority and valid court order.
4.2 Certain Scripts, executable content, or other Assets may access, analyse, modify, create, export, import, process, store, or otherwise interact with files, documents, artwork, preferences, settings, or other data on a user’s device as part of their intended functionality. Such activity is performed by the relevant Script or executable content and not by Astute Graphics.
4.3 Astute Graphics does not control, monitor, review, or supervise the operation of third-party Scripts after installation and is not responsible for how such Scripts access, process, store, modify, transmit, export, or otherwise interact with customer Assets, files, documents, artwork, settings, preferences, or other data.
4.4 Users are responsible for evaluating the suitability, functionality, permissions, and behaviour of any Script, or executable content before installation and use. Where a Script accesses or processes customer Assets, files, documents, artwork, settings, preferences, or other data, such access occurs as a consequence of the user’s decision to install and execute that content.
4.5 Astute Graphics does not routinely access, inspect, review, or read the contents of customer Assets, Scripts, executable content, Packs, or Projects under normal circumstances.
4.6 Astute Graphics may access content where reasonably necessary to investigate security incidents, legal obligations, copyright disputes, licensing issues, operational failures, or violations of applicable policies.
5.1 Because there are no separate backups beyond the storage used by the Astute Manager Pro Service, deleted Assets cannot be recovered. For details of related security controls, please see our Trust & Security Statement.
6.1 We do not commit to a specific breach notification timeframe in this Policy. Where required by law, we will make notifications in line with applicable obligations.
6.2 Third-party Scripts, Extensions, and executable content may present security, compatibility, operational, or workflow risks. Users remain responsible for evaluating and installing such content.
