In 2018, Astute Graphics launched the astui.tech service and website. Built on the core "AG Tech" vector technology powering many of Astute Graphics' popular plugins for Adobe Illustrator, it also brought significant functionality to Adobe XD and Bohemian Sketch.
Through an innovative web service API, the following vector functionality was made available:

Long Shadow
Move Points to Tangencies
Offset Path
Path Fitting
Outline Stroke
Regularise
Rounded Corners
Smart Point Removal (SPR)
Recipes (sequencing the vector operations, above)
In addition to producing sample plugins for XD, Sketch and Illustrator, the astui service also connected to Dropbox accounts resulting in a unique "hotbox" SVG clean-up and optimization service.
Transfer of service to Astute Graphics SaaS
As of 10 March 2021, the astui.tech website-based service ended. The key reason is that the popular Illustrator functionality delivered through astui was made available, and with greater capabilities, in the Astute Graphics plugin subscription which was launched September 2019.
This is allowing us to transition the unique API-based service to all Astute Graphics customers from Q3 2021 as part of the existing, comprehensive subscription service. No additional charges are planned for existing Astute Graphics customers to gain access to this additional functionality! Therefore, astui will instantly gain a significant user base, benefitting many thousands of customers.
We expect the Dropbox connectivity to be of particular interest to Astute Graphics customers, bringing hotbox optimization of vector SVG artwork.
