Astute Graphics is proud to declare that the first stage of its extensive learning program is coming to completion in AG Docs. With over 150,000 words covering nearly every tool and function in the Astute Graphics suite of plugins for Adobe Illustrator, AG Docs makes it possible to quickly reference or deep-dive into any of the extensive workflow and creative solutions.
“Learn continually. There’s always ‘one more thing’ to learn!”
Steve Jobs
With the continued shake-up of the creative market through innovative technologies — including Artificial Intelligence — it's more critical than ever to ensure personal skills and workflows are improved on a daily basis. With Astute Graphics adding regularly to the plugin tool set, we are always looking at what artwork processing challenges start to emerge and how these can be overcome. AG Docs is continuously updated to match the new releases that emerge via the Astute Manager.
To assist every user in quickly finding answers and exploring all options, we have extended the connection between plugin panels and dialogs in Adobe Illustrator with (?) buttons. When clicked on, these directly open the relevant learning material in the Astute Manager.
It is recommended that users set aside 10 minutes every day to learn something new. Astute Graphics specializes in not only adding creative options, but also speeding up your processes so that you have more time to enjoy the work that inspires you. To assist in this, when viewing docs.astutegraphics.com via a web browser, there is a clear option to download the currently viewed documentation as a PDF for future off-line reference.
For around a year, we have offered a Japanese translation option for all AG Docs text, directly in the page. However, upon reviewing usage and following increasing availability of web browser-based built-in translation services — such as those found in Google Chrome — it has been decided to discontinue the Japanese translation option at the beginning of 2025.

Following two years in creating AG Docs to date, Astute Graphics has plans to continuously improve its learning material and training approaches. One example is further developing our AI-powered "AG Chatbot" which has the ability to produce tailored instruction sequences to follow along with. Watch this space for more!
