Plugin usage data collection is optional and can be opted out of at any time.
If you are a member of a Team, your Team Owner, Team Manager or Team Leader will be responsible for turning this on/off. Opting in or out is a per-Team action.
What data is collected if my Team is opted in?
The data collected does not track the artwork you are working on inside Illustrator, or how long you have spent in Illustrator and none of the data we collect will be passed to third parties.
We collect data for internal reporting to assist us with future product development and to understand how our service is used. This is done through the AG Core plugin which has been developed to offer improved communication between our plugins and Astute Manager.
This will be fundamental in our plans to facilitate more training material and offer future services including improved Illustrator settings back up. Scroll down to What happens if the team I'm in is opted out? for more information.

Who controls the data settings?
If your Team License was purchased directly by your company
Only your Team Owner has permission to control all plugin data collection settings for the Team.If your Team License was purchased via a Reseller
Only the Team Manager and Team Leader have permissions to control all plugin data collection settings for the Team.
The data collection settings are found under the Invite Team Member/All licenses allocated section when clicking Manage next to a team. The Team Owner, Team Manager or Team Leader should click the arrow next to Manage team plugin usage data and it’s then possible to toggle the button to opt in or out. This button controls the data collection settings for the entire team.
If the Team Owner, Manager or Leader opts their team in to data collection, Astute Graphics cannot view the screen or artwork of the users and we will not be able to see how the plugins are being used, only which plugins have been used.
What happens if the team I'm in is opted out?
Your Team Owner/Manager/Leader can opt you out at any time and your Astute Graphics plugins will continue to function as normal. The consequence would simply be that as communication between our plugins and Astute Manager develops, we won’t be able to offer you and your colleagues the future features such as tailored training material, time-saving tool suggestions or the ability to synchronise resources eg texture libraries
