We first moved to the Annual payment model in September 2019, making it a full Annual subscription service from September 2020. Prior to this, a full set of 16 of our plugins was priced at almost $600 USD, but the subscription has enabled us to now provide the full set of plugins at the equivalent of what would once have bought you 2 or 3 plugins. This means that the vast majority of customers now benefit from gaining access to all tools rather than a restricted set.
In August 2021 we took the decision to raise the price slightly (effective as of 31 August 2021). At the time, we promised to keep existing subscribers at the original subscription rate for another year, which we did.
As of September 2022 another slight price increase has been necessary. The final price that you will pay will show on the checkout page, this price may include local VAT/sales tax where applicable. For more information, please contact our support team.
The Astute Manager has brought a wealth of positive improvements to the plugins and the speed and number of updates over the past 3 years however, the work and the time put in by our engineers and wider team in the research, development and maintenance has increased significantly and we now recognise that in order to continue producing innovative design software, we do need to raise the price slightly. Develop Engineering resources to bring you more amazing time-saving, creative tools.
Give continued priority to immediate compatibility upgrades (as per Illustrator MacOS and Windows).
Produce continuous Astute Manager developments and improvements to further enhance the ownership experience.
Fund major planned training material expansion to ensure customers can get more from their tools and service.
We do appreciate that this won’t come as welcome news, but we have tried to be as fair as possible and we trust that our existing customers will recognise the continued value of our plugins which are proven to pay for themselves in just a few days.
